What I’ve been up to

I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in May 2025 with a B.S. in Strategic Communication and a minor in Sociology. My final semester was packed with meaningful projects and leadership roles: I served as Communications Manager for CU Boulder’s AdClub, helping plan events and traveling to New York City to meet agencies, while also completing my capstone by creating a full strategic campaign for Bitty & Beau’s, a coffee shop new to Boulder. At the same time, I gained hands-on agency experience as a Digital Marketing Intern at Echo Boomer Design, where I worked on Verizon’s Total Wireless rebrand and created content for clients such as Kate’s Real Food and Nobo Goods. I also choreographed and directed my sorority’s 10-minute Songfest performance, raising money for Boulder’s local food bank.

The summer after graduation was one to remember. I road tripped from Boulder to Los Angeles, stopping in Zion National Park for a 12-mile hike through the Narrows before celebrating with a cocktail in Las Vegas. While in LA, I celebrated my 22nd birthday with my cousins, which made the trip even more special. Later, I took another road trip with my best friend to Florida as a post-grad treat. I also spent a lot of time with both of my grandparents and my immediate family, and I am so grateful to be close to them and to have their support during this season of change. Between travels and time at home, I ate plenty of delicious oysters and sushi, which became two of my favorite indulgences of the summer. Back in Austin, after a few too many rejections and plenty of reflection, I started bartending at a golf course alongside my little sister, who is just now starting her second year at the University of Arizona. It was a summer full of fun and adventure, but also one of emotions and tears, as change is hard, but it is also one of the most beautiful parts of life.

After months of applying, emailing, and networking, I achieved one of my biggest goals: landing a role at my dream agency, GSD&M, as a Strategy Assistant. I now get to work with an incredible team on clients including Southwest Airlines, MD Anderson, Mateo’s, Realtor.com, VRBO, and Duke’s Mayo. I am so grateful to be given this opportunity to grow.

I am beyond excited to be part of such a brilliantly creative agency and even more excited about what is ahead. For now, I am thrilled to call Austin home again.
